The artisan flavors—The Earl, The Empress, The Standard and Oriental Rose— quickly became the best-selling cigarettes at the smoking lounge. Now these products will also be available at specialty tobacco stores, Web, phone, and other outlets for about $2 more than premium brands like Marlboro and camel.

Support includes print ads, created by Gyro Worldwide, Philadelphia, in alternative weeklies such as the Chicago Reader and Seattle Weekly, which hail the availability of Marshall McGearty cigarettes at select retailers.

One afternoon, I was in the backyard hanging the laundry when an old, tired-looking dog wandered into the yard. I could tell from his collar and well-fed belly that he had a home. But when I walked into the house, he followed me, sauntered down the hall and fell asleep in a corner. An hour later, he went to the door, and I let him out. The next day he was back. He resumed his position in the hallway and slept for an hour.
This continued for several weeks. Curious, I pinned a note to his collar: "Every afternoon your dog comes to my house for a nap. "
The next day he arrived with a different note pinned to his collar: "He lives in a home with ten children - he's trying to catch up on his sleep."

I cried from laughter

Good story. It reminds me of my relationship, although I'm normally the one that convinces my wife to make the big purchase. You're lucky the ceiling fans were only around $400. Some nice fans can get into the thousands. I love the fan pre-wiring in my newer home.

Responding to former Government drugs adviser Julian Critchley’s comments
that current drug policy is the equivalent of ‘shifting the deckchairs around on the Titanic’,
Liberal Democrat Shadow Home Secretary, Chris Huhne said:
"Julian Critchley is right to reopen the debate about the Government’s failed policies
to tackle drugs.
